Nation I Tilt/Turn Door
Use:
The tilt-turn door is used primarily as a direct exit to the terrace, balcony, balcony corridor or alternatively as a Juliet balcony. The tilt-turn door is selected where the building's interior design provides space for the inward function or where external sun protection is fitted. Frame I / Nation I (inward opening) and Frame IC / Nation IC (outward opening) have the same outer sash-frame height and can therefore be placed in the same elevation, without there being much visual difference. The door's tilt function provides optimal ventilation options and are popular in rooms with a higher requirement for ventilation, e.g. in bedrooms and kitchens. The turn function can also meet all the building regulations' requirements for egress openings.
Function:
The tilt-turn door is an inward opening door with both bottom and side-hung function. Both opening functions are controlled by the handle and espagnolette in the sash jamb. In the closed position, the handle faces vertically downwards and the tilt function is triggered by turning the handle 90 ° to the horizontal position. The turn function is triggered by turning the handle 180 ° to an upright vertical position. With tilt function, the upper edge of the sash moves approx. 14 cm inwards and gives a free opening of approx. 4 cm. For tilt doors, key locking handles can advantageously be selected. This handle ensures the turn function - even if the cylinder is unlocked, the key must still be activated to go from tilt to turn function. The door is delivered as a single door or as a double door.
